Cinnamon Fashion is not only a shop where you can buy fashion for larger sizes, it is also a place where you can go to get help and advice and most of all suggestions on what to wear.  Being big often also means being stuck in the same style of clothing, wearing the same colours and style for years.  Partly this is because there is not much choice in the shops, partly it is because there are not many shops!  Many women do not buy something different because they want to feel safe and secure.  We are all used to being seen in a certain way and feel comfortable with it.

At Cinnamon we like you to keep feeling comfortable, but we also want to make you feel special!  This means adding a bit of spice to your wardrobe by implementing some colour or a slightly different cut or style of garment.  It  can make all the difference.  Black is the most worn colour by plus size women.  Instead of wearing just black you can also wear other dark colors which are as slimming as black, but which give a bit more warmth to an outfit.  For example, colors like purple, brown, dark red and they are colours that have the same slimming effect.

Colour presents a great way to convey your personality.  If you want to project a serious and professional air - wear dark and light grey or navy with light blue or white.  If you want to come across as a more creative type wear purple, dark red or pink.  Colours can be important to how you want to come across as a person. If you are happy with what you wear and you like what you see in the mirror, you will project this radiance. It doesn't matter then whether you are a size bigger.

It is also important to admit to your size.  Do not try to worm yourself in a size 20 when you really are a 22!  You will feel uncomfortable and the garment will pull at the wrong places and making you look bigger.  This is not a good start to feeling more confident.  Admit to your size, be comfortable and carry yourself with pride. Big is Beautiful. Excel in XL!

Shopping online in the comfort of your own home is quite different from going out to a shop to find clothes.  I do invite everybody to come and visit our shop.  We are open from 9-5 but are able to take special appointments out of shopping hours if requested.  We also organise private parties.  This facility gives you an opportunity to try on different styles and materials in a relaxed atmosphere with no obligations.
